A first class graduate of Edinburgh College of Art (2001), Claire Wheeldon has
gone on to be the first student to win the John Kobal Portrait Award and has most recently become the youngest artist commissioned to make new work for the Scottish Parliament.

• Work from the Childhood Institutions series will be exhibited at Amber Roome Contemporary Art, Cumberland Street, Edinburgh starting November 18.
• Claire Wheeldon will be on Artworks, BBC Scotland on October 26 as part of their feature on artists in the new Scottish Parliament.
